Finished eight more engine tests including the first steam engine.
Two of the four 5 wire engines have completed testing with the grease and oil testing. As usual, the G&O had the largest impact on performance.
Finished testing on more round blue box engines. Two of the motors seem to be at the end of their useful life. Some good data for the engine health section.
Testing activity at this time is paced by e-bay listings. Have several steam engines on the bench. Need to move the focus away from the recent Athearn BB rut.
These steam engines and a group of Atlas ROCO engines are waiting in the wings. These ROCO engines have very little run time. They are a mix of B-B and C-C units.
hopefully weather conditions will allow progress on the full test track set up. Test opportunities seem to be developing everywhere I look.
