A client has initiated an upgrade activity on this engine shoe in the following chart:
The full plan the upgrade is to be defined. DCC & sound are the ultimate goal. The initial look indicates the high speed of the current engine is around 30 SMPH in the engine only level runs. It draws 0.9 Amps of current at this condition. Additionally, as running it has a distinct wine. Thus, a significant effort is needed to bring this unit up to the standards to achieve the goal.
(7-14-21) This will likely involve an upgraded motor. As a point of understanding, the motor from this engine will be used in the 2031 motor test series. It should give a good calibration of a new motor benefits.
